We established a strategic alliance with MultiSAT-Distribución y Tecnologías SA de CV, with offices in Mérida, Yucatán, to cover the entire Mexican territory and also contribute the expertise developed in MultiSAT to our multinational organization.

/ Disaster Response Leadership: Globalsat Chile Emerges

Responding to the high demand for mobile satellite products and services in Chile as a result of the devastating earthquake that same year, Globalsat Telecomunicaciones Chile Ltda. It was established, quickly becoming an undisputed leader in the segment.
Our presence extends throughout the territory, where we also provide service to other highly relevant institutions, including SeNaPReD, the Air Force, the police, and the emergency systems of regional governments.

/ Peru Market Entry

We began operating in Peru under the legal entity Globalsat Perú Telecomunicaciones SAC / ST2 SAC, making a difference in that territory since January 2013 with our strategically located offices in San Isidro, Lima.

We are proud to have permission granted by the Government of Peru to provide satellite equipment and services in the country.

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) positioned Colombia among the top five in Latin America and the Caribbean, providing a unique opportunity to establish Globalsat Colombia Telecomunicaciones Ltda.
We obtained the license that enables us to provide satellite equipment and services, becoming a key player in the country's telecommunications sector, where we have focused especially on the development of M2M (Machine-to-Machine) satellite solutions for the energy industry.

Since 2017, the US subsidiary of Globalsat has been authorized by the FCC to provide telecommunications services originating in the United States.
This allowed the company to work with its local partner in Puerto Rico when Hurricane Maria hit the Caribbean in 2017 and to contract private charter flights to transfer equipment and specialized personnel to the island, facilitating early access to satellite communications for first responders and other workers responding to the emergency.

/ ST2 Acquisition and Caribbean Alliance

In January 2018, we took a bold step towards growth and expansion by reaching a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in ST2, a leading Peruvian connectivity provider.
